Remember when Flash was useful?

What up Internets,
It's 7:22pm on a Wednesday night and I'm trying to finish up some revisions for Delilah and Julius Episode 204 (not that that matters to anybody).
Anyway I'm sick and tired of fighting with flash 8. Remember flash 4 in conjuction with Mac OS 9?
It was great! You could draw without having to "build" your lines. You could animate without it being a huge ordeal...is that how you spell ordeal? it looks weird.
So In my hatered for flash 5 thu 8 I did a quick sketch in a scene i was fixing. and this is it.
and it is in fact, crappy crap for jerks.

-DING DONG!

Yikes. Yea flash was better for drawing in the old days but there's a new one out. I wonder if they've fixed everything in it? I hear you can finally import from photoshop and illustrator now.
That drawing looks like you and a bit of jaques.

You know my take on it. I've been trying to convince those assholes at Macromedia to do something about this for years. I really, really hope that now that Adobe owns it, they'll actually pay attention to the artists again, instead of just turning something from good into bad, which Macromedia has always been famous for. I don't know why I bother to keep the licenses legal - they just send me new boxes full of shit with every new version.
